Please consider donating to Friends of Sherwood Island State Park so our Garden Team can buy beach grass, native plants & trees:

• to build & stabilize dunes by trapping wind-blown sand
• to help our beach resist erosion during coastal storms & full moon high tides
• to provide habitat for migrating birds, butterflies & dragonflies
• to give resident birds, like Killdeer & Mockingbirds, nesting places
• so future visitors will have shaded picnic areas along the beach
