State parks are a public trust. One of our most important roles as an organization is to represent everyone who benefits from Sherwood Island State Park. We push for funding and legislation that improves access and park resources for all people while preserving it for the natural world.
Our Advocacy Committee gathers information from the public, DEEP, local government, and experts on park related subjects. The committee creates opportunities for the public to have their voice heard on behalf of the park.
